Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services release annual QRUR reports
October 10, 2016
CMS has released this year’s QRUR reports.
Fort Collins, Colo. – On September 26, 2016 the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services released annual Quality and Resource Use Reports (QRUR) for reporting year 2015 for every group practice and solo practitioner nationwide. The annual QRUR provides physician practices with an overview of their performance on cost and quality reporting for the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) and the Value-based Payment Modifier. These CMS programs are a part of the healthcare system’s shift towards value-based reimbursement, and it is critical for physicians to understand how this information will impact their practice.
Encompass Medical Partners will leverage the knowledge of their EQUIP team to help practitioners and practices identify areas of strength, risk, and improvement within these QRUR reports upon request. Our team of experts consisting of Emily Richardson, MD, John Bradley, MD, MBA and Christina Leone, MPA regularly analyze CMS quality measures and reports to assist in successful Quality Reporting and Compliance.
