Encompass Medical Partners Looks toward the Future with a Move into Data Science

Fort Collins, Colo. – Beginning in January 2017, Tim Annable, CEO, will be taking the lead of Encompass Medical Partner’s (EMP) data science efforts as Chief Data Scientist. Encompass Medical Partners is a healthcare practice management company whose mission is to “simplify the business of medicine, enabling our customers to improve healthcare quality.” By moving Mr. Annable into the new Chief Data Scientist position, we are looking to the future in helping our current and future clients derive greater value from the volumes of data that they collect in order to better improve healthcare quality for their practices and their patient populations. Putting this infrastructure in place better positions EMP for the emerging market of healthcare data and analytics.
Over the past year and a half, Mr. Annable has demonstrated an incredible strength in process and operations by leading EMP to yet another year of growth in revenue and operational size. The search for a new Chief Executive Officer will begin immediately in the first quarter of 2017.
The new CEO will be charged to continue and improve on the growth from the prior three years while demonstrating EMP’s core values:

As Mr. Annable transitions to Chief Data Scientist, and during the strategic search for a replacement, Scott Novogoratz will step in as interim CEO. Mr. Novogoratz has spent the last nine months on the EMP Board of Directors and has a firm grasp of the strategic vision of the company. Additionally, Mr. Novogoratz has held several leadership positions in the healthcare and healthcare technology industries. From CIO of Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine to Vice President of Information Systems for Advanced Healthcare, Mr. Novogoratz brings a wealth of experience and vision to keep Encompass Medical Partners moving toward a bright and successful future for our clients, our partners, our team, and our community.
